How it works

  1. Connect your assistant: Add cellarmcp, log in and allow access.
  2. Describe your storage: Tell it once how you keep your wine, for example two fridges with shelves 1 to 6 counted from the bottom. Every bottle gets a location in that scheme.
  3. Just talk about your wine: Send a photo of a label to add a bottle. Your assistant researches the drinking window and price, and tells you what is ready to drink tonight.

How do I connect Claude, ChatGPT or another app?

Claude: select Add to Claude, check the link and continue, then log in here and allow access. ChatGPT: select Add to ChatGPT, which copies the link and opens your plugins. Choose + and Add custom MCP server, paste the link, choose OAuth and create it, then log in here and allow access. Other apps that support custom MCP connectors work the same way with this link: https://cellarmcp.app/mcp

How do I add wines?

Send your assistant a photo of the label and say what it does not know, for example: two bottles, kitchen fridge, shelf 3, paid €18 each. It reads the label and researches the drinking window and price. Bought a whole case? Send a photo of the receipt and it adds every wine on it. You can also add wines here on the website.

What does my assistant store?

For each wine: name, vintage, grape, origin, location, number of bottles, drinking window, prices, notes and a link to a photo. Nothing else from your chats.

How does it know where a bottle is?

You describe your storage once in your own words, for example two fridges with shelves 1 to 6 counted from the bottom. Your assistant uses that for every bottle and asks when something is missing.

Can my assistant show me what a bottle looks like?

Yes. Turn on web search in Claude, ChatGPT or your AI app, and it looks up the label and shows you a picture. It also saves a link to the photo with the wine, so it finds it again next time.

Can I manage wines without an assistant?

Yes. You can add, edit, search and delete wines on this website.

Who can see my wines?

Only you. A connected assistant gets access to your cellar alone, and you can delete your account with all wines at any time.

What does it cost?

cellarmcp is free. Premium adds the insights dashboard, a monthly backup by mail and drinking-window reminders for €3 a month or €25 a year. You can cancel any time.
